Why do you think US news reports at the time only focused on the destruction of buildings? Why do you think the US government kept some images classified until the 1980s?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

I believe that since people back then, were less able to afford housing than they are now, buildings were pretty much a big deal for them.

Not to mention, around this time new models of homes were also being built, and so people were moving around a lot more (meaning that demand for houses would be higher).

The U.S most likely kept some images classified, as to not worry or alarm the public, and to protect the public images/reputations and privacy of the people who may have been involved in the related incidents. They also probably waited until the 1980's, because that's more or less around the time that other major events were taking place, thus people were already getting fed up with the government's lies and so would force an explanation from them. Of course, since the government doesn't want to make enemies with its own people, it would be forced to release its information, but only because the people asked for it.

How do Somalis preserve Somali culture?

Answers

The Somali peninsula has a rich heritage relevant to the world. Many ancient world civilizations have left their mark on this area, a connection facilitated by the region’s strategic location, connecting Arabia, Africa, and Asia through the Red Sea Coast, the Indian Ocean and hinterland routes to North Africa, and the Swahili Coast. Ancient long-distance trade is confirmed by archaeological finds from Ras Hafun that demonstrate a Greco-Roman trade affiliation (Chittick 1975; Smith & Wright 1988). Furthermore, historical sources in Greek, The Periplus of the Erythraean Sea (translation Schoff 1995), and Chinese (Freeman-Grenville 1962) also verify long-distance trade, and Somali’s own seafaring traditions in different prehistoric periods (Hourani 1995) attest to contacts with India, China, North Africa, Arabia, Persia, and Eastern Africa, with which Somalis share Swahili culture (Chittick 1969). Answers

Answer:

balances of power define the structure of a government and the size of its boundaries.

The balance of power is the system by which the public entities of the government, and even the nations among themselves, control their power so that no one obtains excessive prerogatives over the others. Thus, political limits are established for the exercise of power by the different bodies, such as the system of checks and balances through which Congress, for example, must authorize certain acts of the President so that they acquire full validity.

What is the meaning behind thanksgiving?

Answers

Answer:

I'm goood!

Thanksgiving Day, an annual national holiday in the United States and Canada celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. Americans generally believe that their Thanksgiving is modeled on a 1621 harvest feast shared by the English colonists (Pilgrims) of Plymouth and the Wampanoag people. In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and the Wampanoag shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. For more than two centuries, days of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states.

The Native Americans welcomed the arriving immigrants and helped them survive. Then they celebrated together, even though the Pilgrims considered the Native Americans heathens. The Pilgrims were devout Christians who fled Europe seeking religious freedom.

The Pilgrims also assassinated many of the natives and tried to control them. Despite the natives being very welcome to the new immigrates they were treated as if they were the immigrates.
